Mr Tucker

Headteacher

Mr Tucker joined in January 2008. He lives in Cheltenham and has two boys that keep him busy with football, swimming, hockey, cricket and tennis! He loves reading and would like to see everyone at Woodmancote passionate about books.

 

 

 

 

Mr de Gruchy

Deputy Head

Year 3/4 Teacher

Mr de Gruchy joined Woodmancote in September 2008. He is the Deputy Head and a Y3/4 teacher. He enjoys reading, tennis, golf and the arts.

 

 

Mrs Greening

Senior Leadership Team

Year 3/4 Teacher

Mrs Greening has been at Woodmancote for fourteen years. Presently, she is SENCO, Art Co-ordinator and a Y3/4 teacher. She really enjoys swimming, walking, the theatre and art activities outside of school.

 

Mr Hyde-White

Senior Leadership Team

Year 6 Teacher

Mr Hyde-White has been with us since September 2006. He is the P.E. subject leader. He enjoys playing and watching most sports, though holding his baby, Anna, whilst reading, has now taken over!

 

 

Mrs Pearman

P/T Reception Teacher

Mrs Pearman has been teaching at  Woodmancote School since 1997. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, dancing and playing games with her young daughter.

Mrs Badham

P/T Reception Teacher

Mrs Badham has been teaching here since 1994. She is the Personal, Social, Health Education & Citizenship coordinator. She has four ponies and three children who keep her very busy! She runs a recorder club at school.

 

 

Mrs Dodwell

Reception Teacher

Miss Townsend has been teaching since 2003. She is the joint literacy coordinator. She enjoys swimming, reading and shopping!

 

 

 

Miss McCauley

Year 1/2 Teacher

Miss McCauley has been teaching since 2004 and loves the energy and enthusiasm of young children. She enjoys life, reading, spending time with her family and laughing. She loves maths and is the subject leader.

 

Miss Bambridge

Year 1/2 Teacher

Miss Bambridge joined the school in September 2007. She enjoys going to the gym, travelling, socialising and is a keen spectator of Formula 1.

 

 

Mr Hoyle

Year 3/4 Teacher

Mr Hoyle has been teaching here since September 2001. He is the ICT Coordinator and runs the Rugby club. He enjoys hill walking, travel, golf and living life to the full!

 

Mr Daglish

P/T Year 5 Teacher

Mr Daglish has been here since September 2001 and coordinates history & geography. He enjoys golf, hill walking, studying early medieval Europe and listening to classical music, especially the works of Russian composers.

 

 

Mrs Hubbard

P/T Year 5 Teacher

Mrs Hubbard has been teaching for nineteen years and here since 1997. She coordinates RE. She enjoys horse riding, travel and cycling.

 

Mrs Sharples

Year 5 Teacher

Mrs Sharples has been here since September 2001. She is the D&T Coordinator and runs the Wildlife Area club. She enjoys all music and riding her motorbike.

 

 

Mrs Grosvenor

Year 6 Teacher

Mrs Grosvenor has been teaching since 2003. She is the joint literacy coordinator and helps run Netball club. She enjoys any sport, socialising and laughing!

Mr King

MusicTeacher

Mr King teaches music to all the classes in the school. He runs choir orchestra, electric music and infant music clubs. In his spare time, he likes amateur dramatics, gardening, playing music and walking in Scotland.

Mrs Bridle

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Bridle has been here since her daughter was a pupil at the school - many years ago! She is currently working with lower Key Stage 2, mainly helping with literacy and numeracy.

 

Mrs Burrows

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Mrs Burrows has been a teaching assistant in KS2 for 8 years. She is a keen, qualified, gymnastics coach, who runs an after school club. She mostly enjoys spending time with her family, meeting friends and foreign travel.

 

 

Mrs Cotter

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Cotter has been a Teaching Assistant here since 2004. She is a life long Elvis fan, interested in art and being creative!

Mrs Kirkham

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Kirkham has worked at Woodmancote School since 2000, mostly in Key Stage 1. She loves her job, but also enjoys horse riding, walking her dog and going out with friends.

 

 

Mrs Lee

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Lee has been here since September 2005 as a Learning Support Worker. She likes reading, playing badminton and eating out.

 

Mrs Minett

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Minett has been a Foundation Stage Play Leader since 2003. She currently supports Mrs Pearman & Mrs Badham. She enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her friends.

 

 

Mrs Parsons

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Mrs Parsons has been at Woodmancote since 1998. She teaches RE in KS1, takes intervention groups and supports the Foundation stage. She runs the country dance club and enjoys walking and study!

 

Mrs Smith

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Smith has worked here since Septmenber 2005 as a Learning Support Worker. She enjoys the gym, swimming and going on holiday.

 

 

Mrs Strangwood

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Strangwood has been a Teaching Assistant in the North East since 2003. She joined us in September 2007 and is working with Mrs Lawrence. She loves reading, walking and socialising!

 

Mrs Worgan

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Worgan has been a Teaching Assistant here since 1999. She works in the Reception supporting Miss Townsend. She helps run the country dance club and enjoys reading and yoga.

 

 

Mrs Munro

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Munro has been a Teaching Assistant since April 2008 in Key Stage 2. She helps run the netball club and enjoys watching her two sons play football and rugby.

Mrs Meadows

Teaching Assistant

Mrs Meadows has been a Teaching Assistant since the summer of 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading (when she gets time!) and shopping!
